Yungen has entered the album charts at number 96 with Project Purple, this his first mixtape in nearly five years. The project features the likes of Dappy, One Acen and Angel and all of the tracks were produced by ADP who is the master behind “Bestie” and a lot of Krept and Konan’s early work. One track from the project which has entered the charts this week is “Comfortable” which features Dappy. The track entered at number 32, this doesn’t look like the only track to chart from the project. You can check out the video for “Comfortable” here and listen to Project Purple here.
Fredo’s “Survival Of The Fittest” is at number 86 this week, taken from his debut album Third Avenue which has just dropped. The album includes the track “BMT” which has already charted and features “All I Ever Wanted”, a collaboration with Dave, will it have the same success as “Funky Friday” which is now at number 69 after 17 weeks in the charts? Wiley, Stefflon Don, Sean Paul and Idris Elba all came together on the track “Boasty” which is co produced by Toddla T and Mucky. It debuts at number 79 but this is set to be a climber over the next few weeks. Cadet and Deno Driz are still in the top 40 after spending 19 weeks in the charts with “Advice” which is now at number 39. AJ Tracey also stays in the top 40 at number 36 with “Psych Out” and just missing out of the top 20 is Headie One and Dave with “18HUNNA” at number 23.
J Cole has entered the charts with his track “Middle Child” in the top ten at number nine whilst NSG and Tion Wayne just missed out on a top ten spot, charting at number 11 with “Options”. This is the highest position the track has charted after five weeks. Russ has fallen outside the top ten and moved down to number 13 with “Gun Lean” – check out the record breaking remix which we premiered right here.
