Donae’O is about to bring back funky house in a big way

Funky house veteran Donae’O has pledged to help revive the genre in a #BringBackFunkyHouseChallenege. 

For those of you who are unfamiliar, the UK funky house scene emerged in the mid 2000s, taking inspiration from a variety of other genres including Afrobeats, tribal house, soulful house, and UK Garage. 

Donae’O took to Twitter to take on the challenge aiming to start releasing songs in January 2018, encouraging other producers to get involved with the campaign.
