UK funky legend Donae’O is back with new material for us in the form of “Ride With Me” featuring Tottenham artist Ekeno!
With Donae’O on the buttons creating a beat which fuses funky and amapiano and Ekeno laying down his upbeat vocals, “Ride With Me” is a feel-good offering which will definitely get dance floors bubbling.
The track arrives following Ekeno’s recent signing to Donae’O’s label, Zephron Records, which he’s set up to give “new artists and artists [he] respects a platform to shine”.
“I’ve always loved Ekeno’s vocal tone,” Donae’O said. “I feel he has the most unique male singing voices in the country and I wanted to help him develop that.
“My aim with all of my releases is to get everyone dancing again and to also bring some good vibes back in the UK club environment.”
