Since Dragon Ball Super debuted in Japan back in the summer of 2015, Western fans had been craving for an English dub of the anime series to be released.
Now, they have got their answer. The first trailer for the American version – which is the official English dub – has finally arrived, and it’s got us more gassed for the return of Goku than ever.
Backed by a surprising soundtrack from Detroit rapper Danny Brown, the trailer re-introduces us to some old faces, as well as premiering some new ones.
It is the first new series of the Dragon Ball saga for North America and Europe since Dragon Ball GT finished its run way back when in 2005. It’s due to begin Stateside on January 7th, so expect to be able to stream it soon thereafter.
