A note which Drake wrote as a child has been put on sale by memorabilia company Moments in Time for $7,500.
A handwritten message which was found in a bin close to where his grandfather worked in Toronto says, “I will clean my room when I come home” along with his signature below it.
The note is said to be a response to his mother’s instructions “In order to receive 8:15am rides this week – room must be clean + bathroom must be clean AS PROMISED FRI JAN. 18th!!!”.
It seems that Drake’s mother really made him work for his rewards, which with his current success considered seems to have paid off. Drake is now said to be worth an impressive $140M, and most probably does not have to work for his 8am rides any longer.
The book which this note came from, also included various other notes from the rapper including a page where he highlighted his musical inspirations which comprises of Michael Jackson, Usher, Jay Z and Will Smith.
The young Aubrey looks to have had his heart set on music since a young age, with the notes reading “Passion for music since the young age of …”
