Two of the world’s biggest rappers have dropped projects in the last month, and naturally comparisons are being made.
Since dropping More Life last month and completing his sold out European tour Boy Meets World, Drake has essentially become the world’s biggest popstar. However. His playlist’s sales (which were the biggest of the year so far) just got surpassed by Kendrick Lamar’s insanely popular fourth album DAMN.
Taking it on the chin like a champ, Drake doesn’t seem at all disheartened that his rumoured nemesis is doing better than him sales-wise. On an Insta post stating that Kenny’s latest record outsold Drake, Driz commented “Amazing to see our music moving”. Looks like The Boy is offering an olive branch in their suspected feud.
It also appears that The Six God is up for collaborating with Kenny again. We haven’t seen a joint track from the pair since 2012’s “Poetic Justice” on Kendrick’s debut album good kid m.A.A.d. city, however Driz recently liked an Instagram comment stating that he, Kendrick and J Cole should all drop a track together. We see you, Drake.
