On September 6th, Drake reportedly had 2-3 million dollars worth of jewellery taken from him. It was stolen from his tour bus as it was parked outside the Talking Stick Arena in Phoenix, Arizona, where he and Future were performing on their Summer Sixteen tour.
Luckily a suspect was arrested for the theft yesterday morning when he was found on Arizona State University campus carrying a suitcase full of the stolen jewellery.
It was initially reported that the items belonged to Drake’s DJ, Future the Prince, and Drake insists that nothing was actually stolen from him.
In their true invasive fashion, TMZ paparazzi ambushed Drake outside The Nice Guy Italian restaurant in West Hollywood. One of them asks him, “What do you have to say to the guys that robbed you?”, and Drake replies, “Nobody robbed me.”
Another photographer then adds, “Well, they got that man arrested”, leading Drake to turn around looking pretty baffed and ask, “Say what?”, before walking into the venue.
Whether or not it was Drake himself who got his stuff nicked, he’s clearly embarrassed about it as he dodges the questions. Is this the end of “Chaining Tatum?”
