EA Sports has unveiled the announcement trailer for FC 24, its first football video game following the expiration of its licensing agreement with FIFA.
The immensely popular FIFA series has now been rebranded as EA Sports FC after the licensing negotiations between them fell through last year, effectively ending their nearly three-decade partnership. Despite the rebrand, EA Sports assures fans that the gameplay of its football video game will remain unchanged, thanks to its extensive network of over 300 licensing agreements with clubs and leagues worldwide. The trailer, featuring renowned British actor Daniel Kaluuya as the narrator, showcases pre-rendered footage of both male and female football stars from different eras interacting in locker rooms and tunnels. Excitement builds as fans anticipate the release of the full gameplay trailer, scheduled for Thursday.
