Ed Sheeran has officially been crowned the artist of the decade.
The singer-songwriter was awarded the title by the Official Charts who revealed Ed has earned the most number one across the official singles and albums charts between 2010-2019.
Ed has already reacted to the news, saying: “Thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the past 10 years, especially my amazing fans. Here’s to the next 10!”
Since releasing his debut album in 2011, Ed has continued to make major waves in the single with singles such as “Thinking Out Loud” – which is officially the biggest song of the decade after spending 14 weeks at number one – “Shape Of You” and more.
Also among the biggest songs of the decade is Drake’s “One Dance” at number six and Pharrell Williams’ “Happy” at number seven.
