A report has suggested this week that tech entrepreneur Elon Musk could be tabling a bid to buy Manchester United football club.
It’s no secret that the current ownership are open to offers, as relations between the Glazer family and supporters have greatly soured over the years, with protests against them at nearly every match.
Valued at around £4.5billion, the red side of Manny haven’t been short of suitors and have numerous parties interested in the purchase.
But according to the Daily Mail, it’s Musk who is leading the line and is apparently considering making a move to buy.
The 51 year old is worth an estimated £157billion so could match the whopping price valuation of Manchester United.
This move would come just a few months on from his purchase of social media platform Twitter, which he bought for $44billion.
