Euro 2020 has officially been postponed to next year due to coronavirus.
The Norwegian FA broke the news on Twitter, writing: “Uefa has decided that the Euros should be postponed until 2021. It will be played from 11 June to 11 July next year.”
The football tournament was initially scheduled to take place from June 12 to July 12 this year across 12 countries including England and Scotland.
The news of the suspension of the Euro 2020 tournament comes after it was announced last week that the Premier League and EFL have been suspended until April 3rd at the earliest.
