Whether you’ve watched it or not, we’ve all heard of ‘Fake Taxi’, the porn series featuring taxi drivers who offer their customers a different kind of ride than usual.

The location of the videos however has now apparently been sussed out, naming a car park in Sutton, near Croydon, reportedly the location for at least 128 of the films that around five million people have watched.

The car park, for St. Nicholas Shopping Centre, is near Sutton Council offices and according to The Guardian has been used for almost half of the ‘Fake Taxi’ videos. Areas of Sutton can even be seen in the background of some of the videos as the taxi drives past them.

Councillors complained that it’s “disgraceful that this is happening in public”, but luckily for them the company tweeted that it could be time to move locations.

A spokesperson from Met Police said previously that a 28-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were arrested after they were found “behaving indecently” in the back of a taxi close to the car park, but they weren’t charged due to insufficient evidence of any crimes actually being committed.

Orbit Housing, which owns some garages apparently seen in the films, said, “We will be working with our partners to investigate this incident and take necessary enforcement action.”, while St. Nicholas Shopping Centre declined to comment.
