Fee Gonzales is officially back. After taking time out to reset, refine, and rethink his whole creative direction, the South London rapper has launched a brand-new era with three fresh tracks: “My Side,” “Helping,” and “MMW,” a wavy remix of Usher’s classic “You Make Me Wanna.”

During his break, Fee stepped behind the camera and assisted in directing the WGFT video for Gunna and Burna Boy alongside Spike Jordan. This experience reshaped how he approaches visuals and music.

“Being part of the WGFT video process gave me a deeper understanding of how visuals shape emotion,” Fee says. “It helped me think differently about how I want my music to feel—how I want it to look, even before it’s filmed.”

Now Fee’s tapping into a new sound: gritty, soulful rap with real emotional weight. He says he’s learned to “shed light through the darkness” — turning personal struggles into something people can feel and relate to.

“Not everything in my story is positive,” Fee explains. “But I’ve learned how to shed light through the darkness—to share pain in a way people can connect with, heal through, and see themselves in. I want my music to be a source for everyday people to feel understood.”

The three new tracks mark the start of a new chapter, with an upcoming project on the way that early listeners say is his most mature and focused yet.

Take in “My Side” here and “Helping” right here.
