Although the days of Terminator becoming a reality may still be a distance away, artificial intelligence technology is getting pretty bait.
Things have taken an even weird, as a research laboratory have unveiled a new song which was entirely composed by artificial intelligence.
The system is called Flow Machines and works with an extensive knowledge of human kinds music. It has a huge database of sheet music from varying styles and genres programmed into it, enabling it to come up with the melody and music.
Called “Daddy’s Car” and in the style of The Beatles, it marks the first time a full length pop song has been created by AI. It all happened with just a little help from a human called Benoît Carré, a French composer who wrote the song’s lyrics.
The song is expected to appear on an album made up of entirely computer-generated songs next year.
