FKA Twigs and The Weekend have released a striking set of visuals in the follow up of their insane collaboration “Tears In The Club”.
In just under four minutes multiple forms of art are bought together visually, a raw reminder that FKA Twigs doesn’t just drop tracks – she releases creative masterpieces.
Expressing the track’s aesthetically striking nature is director Amber Grace Johnson, who serves justice to the insane talent of FKA Twigs and The Weekend.
The video is edited with precision to perfectly capture FKA Twigs as she gracefully dances through multiple shots – whether that be in isolation or amongst back up dancers. By dancing smoothly through disjointed flashing club lights, her soulful vocals – which glide through the track’s beat – are aided effortlessly.
In collaboration with The Weekend, who compliments the versatility of FKA Twigs, the entire vision is brought together seamlessly.
With the release of the “Tears In The Club” visuals, FKA Twigs took to Twitter to address the creative depth of her art: “listen yeh i’m being mad serious i’m not playing around y’all gonna get what u’ve been wanting from me for bare time there are levels to this game and i am levelling up to MY best self, cause my best healthy self is my competition always.”
