Footasylum and Jordan will officially unveil The Basement this Saturday, 14th February — a newly transformed creative space housed beneath Footasylum’s Oxford Street flagship.
Reworked into a dynamic cultural destination, the lower ground floor has been reshaped into a purpose-built hub designed with community at its core. Far beyond a traditional retail setting, The Basement operates as a gathering point where creativity, collaboration, entertainment and self-expression intersect — a genuine communal “third space” where ideas can be developed and culture can thrive.
Ahead of the public opening, the brand hosted a private launch event last night, inviting local creatives, rising talent and key cultural figures to experience the venue first-hand and set the tone for what’s to come.
Reflecting Footasylum’s ongoing dedication to uplifting the next wave of talent, The Basement will serve as a platform for workshops, networking sessions and accessible studio opportunities. From DJs and podcasters to designers and multidisciplinary artists, the space is built to nurture emerging voices — reinforcing the brand’s wider commitment to creating pathways and meaningful opportunities for young creatives.
Doors open to the public at 9am on Saturday 14th February. The store will trade daily from 9am to 9pm.
