Fredo is back with his second album of the year in the form of Independence Day.
The latest project from Fredo embodies the essence of road rap as we hear the west Londoner keep it raw and gritty throughout its 42-minute runtime.
Independence Day features the already released “Freestyle”, “Talk Of The Town” and “Wandsworth To Bullingsdon” with Headie One, as well as brand-new material which all combine to make up a tape full of heat for the streets.
As well as hearing from Headie, the album also includes guest features from Potter Payper on “14”, “Clavish” on “Mind” and Sus on “Double Tap”, with each artist adding another layer of assertiveness to the project.
The arrival of Independence Day comes around six months after Fredo dropped his second studio album Money Can’t Buy Happiness which featured appearances from Dave, Summer Walker, Pop Smoke and Young Adz. The album went on to peak at Number 2 in the UK Albums Chart, with three singles reaching the Top 40.
Despite his chart success, Fredo isn’t taking his foot off the gas just yet and has given us a solid 14-tracker to see us through the summer.
