He’s made waves in the music scene in recent years and now west London’s very own Fredo is moving into the sneaker industry as he’s just announced a multi-million pound deal with London-based trainer retailer Kick Game.

Complex have reported that the partnership will see Fredo – a well-known sneakerhead – host a series of events and launches at Kick Game in-store and online over the course of the next two years.

News of Fredo’s deal with Kick Game comes after business for the retailer soared during the pandemic, with the store experiencing a 600% boost in online sales in the months of lockdown.

“Kick Game’s revenue over the last 12 months has grown from £2million to £15million,” says Kick Game co-founder Robert Franks, “placing us as potentially one of the fastest-growing companies in our sector. This deal is ground-breaking for a business of our kind; the fanbase overlaps and it made complete sense to partner with Fredo.”

Fredo added: “Rob and I share a huge passion for sneakers. In the same way I put my fans first, Rob puts his customers first.

“For me, this was an easy investment because Rob and I quickly became friends and with the huge growth in the sneaker industry, the investment made a lot of sense with the potential for huge returns.”

Kick Game have opened two stores in London since being established in 2013 and a third is due to open in Birmingham’s Bullring Shopping Centre in the coming weeks.
