Word on the curb has rumbled on for a while that a joint project from Fredo and Nines is coming, but we haven’t had official confirmation, until now.
In a recent cover interview with Rolling Stone UK in support of his new (solo) album Unfinished Business, Fred was pressed on the mixtape’s existence.
The West Londoner gave an affirmative answer, saying, “Yeah, this year for sure. We started recording it already.”
It would mark a monumental collaboration and would follow on from the success of the recent joint EP from Central Cee and Dave, Split Decision.
Whilst we have no official release date yet, “this year” sounds promising, so stay tuned to GRM Daily for more updates on the Fredo and Nines project.
