Future has released his seventh studio album, Future Hndrxx Presents: The Wizrd.
The new offering from the trap artist hailing from Atlanta features collaborations with Gunna, Travis Scott and Young Thug and sees the artist keep to his auto-tuned tinged rap style throughout the project.
The Wizrd features the tracks “Crushed Up” and “Jumpin on a Jet” as well as plenty of new tracks for fans to enjoy across the twenty track long album.
The album is less feature-heavy than the artist’s previous releases Future and Hendrxx and instead, resembles the projects Evol and DS2 which also housed minimal collaborations with other artists.
The focus on Future as a solo artist comes after several collaborative albums from the artist including with Drake, Young Thug and Juice Wrld.
Future fans will also notice that Metro Boomin, DJ Spinz and Zaytoven do not have production credits on this album but instead, Future has several tracks on this new project produced by ATL Jacob who is signed to Future’s record label Freebandz. Outside of working with Future, the work of ATL Jacob can be heard on Meek Mill’s track “Splash Warning” which is taken from his album Championships. ATL Jacob also frequently produces tracks for Lil Durk.
Future also links with TM88, Tay Keith and Nineteen85. TM88 produced Lil Uzi Vert’s hit “XO TOUR LIF3”, Tay Keith is responsible for Travis Scott and Drake’s lit track “Sicko Mode” and Nineteen85 is a Canadian producer who has production credits across Drake’s catalogue including on the tracks “One Dance”, “Hotline Bling”, “0 to 100” and “Truffle Butter” with Lil Wayne and Nicki Minaj.
