New York rap duo G4 Boyz are back with remix for their big single “Local Scammer” featuring G4choppa and the one and only Chief Keef.
Produced by south London producers FNR Beats, “Local Scammer” is an example of drill going full circle. Chief Keef popularised the drill genre towards the start of the last decade, before it developed its own style in the UK – thanks to producers like Fermz and Renz – which has now influenced the current rap scene in New York.
On the “Local Scammer” remix, G4 Boyz, G4choppa and Chief Keef fuse their styles effortlessly – resulting in a big collaboration which symbolises the growth of drill across the world.
