The finale of ‘Game Of Thrones’ brought in 19.3 million views on the first airing and as we all saw, the viewers were definitely divided in their opinions.
Unless you are unplugged from the world, you would have undoubtedly seen that a large number of viewers were disappointed by the shows ending. Following this, most of us decided to carry on with our lives and to leave the show behind, remembering the series in its prime.
Rumours are now swirling that an alternative ending may have been written and even possibly shot.
Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju who plays the wildling Tormund Giantsbane spoke further on the matter.
The Norwegian actor told the Metro, “Well, we shot an alternative ending.”
The actor also elaborated further saying, “That was mostly for fun but I don’t know if I’m allowed to tell you about that.” Further to this, Hivju added that the filming process was fun and went into further detail and explained that the alternative ending would have been a less than safe alternative to the scene which was chosen.
This may sound very exciting, however without bursting your bubble, it was also mentioned that this ending is highly secretive and kept tightly under wraps. It may be a harsh reality that this ending never reaches the light of day. Fingers crossed for more details.
