Ghetts debuted his brand new single from his next album On Purpose With Purpose live at the MOBOs last night, where he was the recipient of the pioneer award. “Double Standards” is Ghetts speaking on a number of different issues facing us as a human race, pointing at the hypocrisy that plagues any real sense of justice of fairness in all aspects of modern society. Ghetts’ calm, delivery coupled with Sampha’s heavenly vocals really help the lyrics and meaning behind them hit home for the listener.
