Reports suggest that a gold version of the Playstation 4’s slim model will launch next week.
These reports centre around the leaked picture of the gold unit that got circled around the internet. Reddit user Sliye wrote, “I work at Target and it looks like the PS4 gold is coming June 9…it shows up on our equipment.”
This news comes just in time for the year’s biggest gaming conference – E3. The event starts on the June 13, with Sony expecting to make some massive announcements.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Sony has released a PS4 Slim model in gold, with a special edition PS4 of a similar variant being promoted through an earlier Taco Bell promotion.
It’s a shame this is all speculation at the moment because, well, who wouldn’t want a PS4 slim in gold?
