Goldie faces trial for attacking Glastonbury festival bouncer

DJ, musician and actor, Goldie has been ordered to face trial along with his 19-year-old daughter, Chance as they are accused of attacking a security guard earlier this year at Glastonbury festival. 

Clifford Joseph Price, known as Goldie, who received an MBE last year, allegedly pushed the security guard and scratched his face as a result of his daughter being denied access to a backstage area. 

The 52-year-old musician who previously played a James Bond villain, was said to have had a struggle with the security guard, to which his daughter was involved as she kicked the guard while he laid on the floor. 

The DJ played a set at the five-day festival, which took place at the latter end of June, the attack happened on 23rd June. Both Goldie and his daughter have entered not guilty pleas to the charge of assaulting bouncer, Dennis Poole. 

The finalised details of the trial date and location will be released this Friday.
