Last night, the Grammys 2017 ceremony took place and the usual suspects were mostly on hand to claim the big wins.
London girl Adele took home five awards, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year, the acceptance speech for the latter making headlines this morning.
She dedicated her speech to her self-confessed “Artist of Life”, Beyonce – who also won big on the night – reducing the “Formation” hitmaker to tears. Adele then asked “what the f*ck does she have to do to win” and broke her award in half to share with the Queen B.
Chance The Rapper made a handful of historic wins too, winning Best Rap Album for his streaming-only project Coloring Book, Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance for “No Problem”.
Meanwhile, although Views didn’t claim any prizes, Drake walked away with two awards.
The best performance from the night has to be from veteran hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, who dedicated it to their late member and friend Phife Dawg, alongside Anderson .Paak and Busta Rhymes.
It was Busta who stole the show however, as he called Donald Trump “President Agent Orange” in a no holds barred tirade against the businessman turned politician.
Check out that performance below and see what you missed out on from the Grammys 2017.
