London-based producer Hagan has teamed up with singer-songwriter Ayeisha Raquel to create “Pray For Me”, an upbeat offering perfect for those summer evenings.
Fusing UK funky and broken beat, Hagan creates a soothing tone on “Pray For Me”; complemented by Ayeisha’s soulful vocals and wholesome lyrics.
“As the track title states, this track is a reminder of all the personal prayers my grandma would say upon my life and how I’d also do the same for her,” Hagan says of the song. “Alternatively ‘Pray For Me’ was written from the perspective of a non-believer that is yearning for something or someone to believe in. Filled with curiosity and desperate for something life-changing, the request to be taught how to pray is humbly made.”
The track is a teaser of what’s to come from Hagan’s forthcoming debut album, Textures, which is due for release on October 7.
