Harry Shotta has officially had a Guinness World Record confirmed, for his track from way back in last summer, called “Animal”.

The MC, who can be found more time spitting over drum and bass, put together a mental 1,771 words in the 6 minute long track.

Eminem was the previous holder of the record, for his insanely articulate 2013 track “Rap God”, taken from his Marshal Mathers LP 2.

The track’s producer, Phantasy, spoke to SBTV News about the achievement. He said, “It all came from a bit of a jokey conversation.

“It started as a normal three-and-a-half minute radio record, but me and Harry are always trying to push the boundaries. Harry jokingly said ‘can you imagine if we extended it to six minutes and broke the world record?’

He finished by saying, “Eminem is a legend, you have to take your hat off to an artist like that. But we’re trying to push boundaries and to be recognised for this is something special.”

Big up Harry Shotta!
