Chuckie is back with another episode of the HCPod. On this episode he is joined by grime heavy hitter Manga Saint Hilare.
Manga and Chuckie explore a variety of topics – from the power of the internet, different generations and geographical differences have on our use of the same slang words, to whether Boris Johnson should resign.
Together they praise the unique talent of Pa Salieu but question why, despite his incredible mark on the scene, he isn’t praised as one of the best. The discussion leads them to ponder the reaction to artists like Pa Salieu who aren’t from London, because London-born artists seem to receive more respect and love. Despite this, Manga and Chuckie urge the need to open up the London-centric conversations to shine a spotlight on Pa Salieu and the stylistic, purposeful movements he has made in music.
The pair end their discussion on a political note, criticising Boris and his party for never admitting to their never-ending stream of lies and refusal to be held accountable.
