In a dynamic fusion of culture and music, the South London Renaissance was unveiled last Friday, courtesy of Hennessy, The Queen Of The South and Cloud X.
The event, headlined by acclaimed MC Bawo, witnessed a vibrant crowd revelling in his performance, which featured hits like “Talking Too Much” alongside fan favourites “Skate” and “Starts With A Text”.
Hennessy, joining forces with South East London’s latest live music hub, The Queen of the South and cultural platform Cloud X, kicks off a month-long celebration that will continue to showcase London’s top underground talent.
Week two (April 12th) will feature a headline performance by South London Rap collective House Of Pharaohs. Week three (April 19th) promises a captivating double bill with Etta Bond and Tara Lilly . Finally, the residency will conclude on week four (April 26th) with Finn Foxell supported by Santino Le Saint.
