French-Cuban sister duo Ibeyi have given us a taste of what to expect on their forthcoming album, Spell 31, with the early release of “Lavender and Red Roses” featuring Jorja Smith.
Directed by Lucrecia Taormina, the complementary visuals paint a unique story of the three artists trailing the desert and meeting a mysterious man. The track radiates a spell-like sound accompanied by the heavenly voices of Ibeyi and Jorja Smith.
