Idris Elba, Toddla T, General Levy, Naomi Cowan come together for a vibey new summer banger “We Run The Area”.
Released via 7Wallace & Bell Brothers – the labels run by Idris and Toddla respectively, “We Run The Area” is soaked in influences from both Jungle and Drum and Bass soundscapes. The two DJs bring through a real veteran of the scene with General Levy and an exciting up and comer in the shape of Naomi Cowan to lay down some cold vocals over the bouncy instrumental. Interestingly, the video itself was filmed mostly on an iPhone 14 – designed to reflect the DIY creative genes that are so prevalent throughout the genre.
