Ivorian Doll’s name has been all over socials in recent times as her trip to Ghana ended up with not just some great new music, but a beautiful experience.
Joining DJ Firestarr on the first Influential Records of the year, she says: “I actually went out there for work purposes, but got a bit carried away! I went over there to shoot a music video. Going out there and being with other artists as well, I realised we are all similar – a lot of us have anxiety”.
This shows that her Ghana trip didn’t just inspire her musically, but also aided her growth as an individual. She also points out how good the vibes were and suggests that she might make a trip to Ghana annually.
IVD then breaks down her two latest releases. Firstly, with the major collaboration with Smallgod, Vic Mensa, Black Sherif, and Kwaku DMC on “Holy F4k” and her highly-anticipated tune “Boss” which has been in the chamber for some time now.
