Ivor Novello, BRIT and Grammy-nominated producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist Jax Jones has released a brand-new single dubbed “The Don” featuring Stefflon Don and System.Inc.
Sampling X-Presidents’ classic garage track “Diamond Rings”, Jax Jones and System.Inc create a playful vibe on this drop and Stefflon adds to the fun atmosphere with her slick lyrics and flows.
“System.Inc and I bonded over a shared love of X Presidents’ Diamond Rings and a few weeks ago we made this track”, Jax Jones explains. “I played it to Steff and she loved it. We went into the studio the next day to write the lyrics and cut the vocal.
“The way she delivered both the rap and singing elements was amazing. She is the real Don!”
