To celebrate his 50th birthday today (December 4), JAY Z has put his entire discography back on Twitter.
Spotify revealed the news on Twitter earlier this morning, writing in a tweet: “Happy birthday, Hov […] Welcome back to Spotify”.
Jay Z had recently removed most of his discography from Spotify back in 2017, leaving users of the streaming platform with Reasonable Doubt, In My Lifetime Vol.1 and Vol.2…Hard Knock Life, as well as his album with Linkin Park, Collision Course.
Following the removal of his music catalogue, the streaming platform had said it was done at “the request of the artist”.
Prior to today, Jay Z’s entire discography was only available on Tidal, which is owned by Hov.
However, his catalogue is now back on Spotify for us all to enjoy.
