JAY Z’s Roc Nation and the NFL recently partnered up and now they have announced the first programs to come from their collaboration.
Following the announcement of their partnership, they have revealed plans to launch an Inspire Change clothing line and a Songs of the Season program.
A statement regarding Songs of the Season reads: “Songs of the Season will showcase musicians that will create and deliver a song to be integrated in all NFL promotions each month during the season.
“The songs will debut during an in-game broadcast and will be simultaneously released to all digital streaming platforms (DSPs) worldwide. All proceeds from the songs will go toward Inspire Change.”
News of the two new programs comes just weeks after JAY Z’s Roc Nation signed a deal with NFL to become the sporting body’s “live music entertainment strategist”.
The agreement between the two companies will allow Roc Nation to advise the NFL on which artists should perform at the Super Bowl.
Another main component of the deal is that the Roc Nation and the NFL will work together to “nurture and strengthen community though football and music” through the NFL’s non-profit Inspire Change initiative.
