Built around themes of trust and understanding – or rather mistrust and misunderstanding – he tells a story of teenage bickering every young relationship can empathise with.
Soaring his way around huge, thumping 808’s with a cat-like finesse and a vocal tone as smooth as silk, JB Milano makes an impressive opening statement of intent.
Imbued with a naturally experimental spirit, JB finds comfort in unchartered sonic territory, instinctively inclined to search for clues rather than follow trends. A pattern inspired by his eclectic taste in music, citing The Weeknd, Aminé, Drake and Frank Ocean as his greatest influences. It shouldn’t be so surprising then to see that he takes after them stylistically and creatively.
