Jelani Blackman has returned to the Colors studio for a heartfelt Encore performance of his single, “Tricky”.
During the performance, the London-based artist speaks on the harsh realities of where he grew up; touching on being exposed to violence and postcode wars from a young age. Blackman also touches on the subject of race during his performance as the second verse sees the artist detailing the racism he has experienced in his life.
The blue backdrop for the performance ignites feelings of melancholy which are well suited to the introspective bars Blackman lays down.
