The genre fluid Jim Legxacy has delivered brand new visuals for “Block Hug”.
Jim Legxacy is one of UK music’s brightest stars at the moment, producing music that can’t really be easily pigeonholed. He effortlessly straddles the lanes between rap, pop and genuinely everything else in between. Listening to Jim Legxacy, it’s clear that he’s on the very precipice of greatness.
“Block Hug” is the latest set of visuals to be released from his new project homeless n*gga pop music, which was actually recorded while he himself was homeless. The track embodies the sonics of the project as a whole, and sees Jim croon and then quickly dive head first into some razor sharp witty lyricism. The more knowledgeable amongst us will of course notice the chopped and screwed sample of the classic 67 and Giggs track “Lets Lurk” closing out the proceedings.
