This week grime legend Jme released his 3rd album ‘Integrity>’ on iTunes independently.

Asides from exercising the hysteria from die hard Boy Better Know fans, the MC did little to promote this album. Undoubtably preferring quality over quantity, he visited Banquet Records in Kingston for an intimate surprise performance and CD signing, and gave one interview (to us – part 1 and part 2 here) for #RealTalkWithChuckieOnline.

The album is grime to the core, with verse and producer features from usual collaborators Skepta, Shorty, Frisco, Wiley, D Double E, Jammer… as well as the massive single “Man Don’t Care” with Giggs.

Mid week chart positions were announced on Thursday, with Jme sitting at number 11 alongside a phenomenal 5102 album sales. Yesterday the first week charts came to a close, placing Jme very comfortably at number 12 on the chart.

This is highly impressive for a completely independent artist with no management, PR, label… or anything else for that matter. Integrity is greater than, everything.

Congratulations Jme.
