Despite not releasing digital copies of the album, JME’s Grime MC LP is on course to chart in the Top 20!
The Official Charts revealed the news in a tweet, writing: “Released on physical formats only, @JMEBBK’s new album Grime MC is on course for this Friday’s Top 20.”
Following its release last Friday (November 29), Grime MC is currently no.18 in the charts and is bound to secure a place in the Top 20 on Friday.
The album – which serves as JME’s fourth studio LP – was only released on physical formats such as CD and vinyl and it looks like his decision to abandon digital streaming platforms definitely isn’t hindering his album sales.
Containing eighteen tracks with features from the likes of Skepta, Giggs, Wiley, P Money and more, JME’s latest tape is unapologetically grime and it looks like his old-school approach is proving popular with fans.
