Salford rapper Jordan has released a new set of visuals for his singles, “Soul” and “Traveller Man”.
Directed by Nathan McDonald, these visuals are powerful and begin by showing Jordan living a life of crime before taking to church to speak on the lessons he learnt in the second half.
“Soul” and “Traveller Man” are both taken from Jordan’s debut mixtape, Crooks & Queens, which dropped back in November alongside collaborations with Tion Wayne, Ard Adz, Maverick Sabre and more.
In an interview with GRM at the time of its release, Jordan explained how women inspired the title of the project.
“The women are the ones who look after us in jail – our mums, our sisters, our girlfriends visit us, they deal with stuff for us,” he said. “Women are the f**king backbone of us and we all forget that all the time, that we would be lost without women. So I just made sure I put the queens in there and made a lot of songs for the queens because I think the women deserve that.”
