Smooth lyricist Jords has blessed us with a deep, new single entitled “Black & Ready”.
Race relations is a massive talking point across the world at present and the latest track from Jords sees him give his sincere and honest thoughts on the topic, with his lyrics – alongside the faint chants of “Black Lives Matter” in the background – creating an empowering track for the black community.
Jords also announced all proceeds from “Black & Ready” will be donated to The Black Curriculum – an organisation devoted to facilitating social change by “delivering arts focused Black history programmes, providing teacher training and campaigning through mobilising young people”.
The release of “Black & Ready” comes just weeks after Jords gifted us with his new, 10-track album, Almost An Adult.
