Julie Adenuga has announced she is leaving Apple Music after spending 5 years on air at the company.

The presenter took to Twitter to announce the news, tweeting: “It’s officially my last week on @Beats1/@AppleMusic!

“After an incredible 5 years, I’ve decided it’s time to move on. I don’t think the words that could truly express my gratitude exist, so for now I’ll just say THANK YOU Apple for changing my life ~ it’s been unreal.”

Julie joined Apple Music as a radio DJ on Beats1 back in 2015 where she interviewed a number of huge acts including Ed Sheeran, One Direction, Cardi B, Giggs, Dizzee Rascal, Skepta and many more.

As well as being a hit with listeners on The Friday Show and The Agenda, Julie’s club night ‘Don’t @ Me’ has also proved popular with fans in recent times.

Julie is yet to reveal her next career move but we’re sure she’ll be successful in whatever she chooses to do!
