Justin Bieber is set to take on Tom Cruise in an explosive and highly anticipated MMA fight.
Bieber teased the idea earlier in June on Twitter but quickly poured cold water on the plans, citing fear as his reason.
In his initial proposal, the Canadian recording artist tweeted, “I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon. Tom if you don’t take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?”
Days after, Bieber backtracked and said, “Man… I was just playing, it was just a random tweet, I’m pretty sure Tom would probably whoop my ass in a fight. I’d have to get super in shape, I’m really skinny right now. I think he’d probably be out of my weight class. He’s got that dad strength”.
Now it appears Justin Bieber has changed his mind and plans to stage the fight have begun. Dana White, the president of the UFC, is allegedly in talks with both Justin Bieber’s and Tom Cruise’s management team to finalise the fight.
On the plans, Dana said Bieber is, “100% up for stepping into the octagon to fight” and described the Bieber vs. Cruise fight as “the easiest fight to promote in the history of my career”.
