East London’s Kali Claire has returned with a brand-new single dubbed “Disrespekt via Platoon.
Arriving as her first release of the year following her 2020 EP Songs By The Pool, “Disrespekt” is a soothing Ebenezer-produced track from the Hackney-hailing songstress who uses her voice to deliver a powerful song about self-belief and overcoming toxic situations.
“This is a song for anybody who’s ever felt disrespected,” Kali said of the song. “It’s me knowing my worth, my boundaries and myself. 2021 Queen and King energy!
Since dropping her debut EP Symptoms Of A Teen in 2019, Kali has garnered over 6.5 million streams across all platforms and its her silky sound – evident on “Disrespekt” – which has been drawing in listeners ever since.
