South London riser KAM-BU has returned with a new single titled “LIVE-O”.
As the title of the track suggests, this tune is a nod to British rave culture that hears KAM rip up Tom Dinsdale & JD Reid’s charge-up production.
“”LIVE-O” is a rave-ready anthem about the reigniting of adventure through the power of music, an ode to ‘free party’ culture and forest raves,” KAM said of the song. “The industrial sound blended tongue-and-cheek lyricism pointing towards the lost way of myself and the times. However, there’s something about the dance which has and always will be liberating”.
“LIVE-O” arrives weeks after KAM-BU teamed up with BXKS and p-rallel on the garage-infused “Evening Time”. The new release is also his first solo drop of 2023 and follows on from last year’s “Eton Mess”.
