Kano is back with another episode of his Newham Talks content series and joining him in this one is former footballer and coach, Chris Hughton.
In this one, the episode begins with the two speaking on how they’ve been coping with the coronavirus pandemic; with Chris speaking on how he got used to being in lockdown and structuring his life around it. During the insightful conversation, we also hear Chris discuss his roots in Forest Gate and Upton Park, getting into football, racism in the sport and much more.
Newham Talks is a new series by Kano in which he sits down with fellow famous, Newham-hailing figures to raise money for their home borough. Donations can be made via the Go Fund Me campaign and the money will go directly to The Renewal Programme, which will then equally split the funds between themselves and additional Newham-based charities Caritas Anchor House and Bonny Downs Community Association.
