Kanye West has admitted defeat in the 2020 U.S. election after winning over 50,000 votes across the country.
The U.S. artist had been running as an independent presidential candidate in the election, but conceded defeat on Twitter as the results have been coming in.
“WELP KANYE 2024,” Kanye wrote on Twitter, hinting that he will be running for president again in the next U.S. election.
Despite Democratic candidate Joe Biden gaining an early lead in the polls, Donald Trump has already claimed victory for the Republic Party, saying in an address at the White House: ““We will win this and as far as I’m concerned we already have won it.”
Ten states are yet to declare and the final result will go down right to the wire.
Addressing Americans at a drive-in rally in Delaware over night, Biden said: “We’re gonna have to be patient, until the hard work of tallying votes is finished […] It ain’t over ’til every ballot is counted.”
