In a crazy twist in the tale, it’s been sussed that “Two Birds, One Stone“, a song that Drizzy dropped to celebrate his birthdayvia OVO Sound Radio on Beats 1, has got co-writer and co-producer credits from Kanye West.
Now, this may not seem too weird considering the two are supposedly meant to be working on a joint album, but when you consider that this track features jabs at Kid Cudi – a long-time collaborator of Kanye and Pusha T, the president of Kanye’s G.O.O.D Music label – things become a little shady.
Cudi infamously checked himself into rehab the other day after a series of tweets, several of which were aimed at Yeezy at Drizzy. This has meant Drake has become subject to criticism for going in at Cudi when he’s clearly in an unstable state and is seeking help. Support amongst artists for Cudi has, for the most part, been endearing.
Both Kanye and Drake have made mention of Cudi on their recent tours, with Kanye dedicating a performance of “Father Stretch My Hands Pt.1” to his own “Gorgeous” collaborator. Kanye is yet to comment on the Drizzy track, and there has been nothing to suggest that Kanye is beefing with King Push, but this is sure to spark some controversy – hell, it already has! Upon hearing the song, Cudi tweeted another shot at Drake
